Clara Cho

Clara Cho, a Korean cellist based in New York City, is deeply dedicated to a diverse range of classical and contemporary music. As a fierce advocate for the music of our time, she collaborates closely with living composers, artists, and choreographers to contribute to the development of emerging repertoire. Clara holds BM and MM degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied under Julia Lichten. Currently, she is furthering her education at MSM under the tutelage of Philippe Muller, working towards a Professional Studies certificate.

In addition to her academic accomplishments, Clara has actively participated in impactful projects, including the multimedia collaboration "RASA PROJECT" at National Sawdust. She also served as a cellist-composer for the art exhibition "Sunset, Draft" by Youngsue Jo and contributed to the fashion brand exhibition: "The Last Garment: Collection #00: Prologue", presented by Jingu Jun. Moreover, she is currently a guest member of the Tactus Contemporary Ensemble at MSM.
