Wangshu Xiang

Whatever it is, thNative of Shenzhen, China, cellist Wangshu Xiang has has performed all around the world in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, David Rubenstein Hall, Jordan Hall in Boston, MA, Harpa Hall in Iceland, Oslo Konserthus in Norway. As a chamber musician, she is the cellist of the Marian String Quartet which made debut in Alice Tully Hall in 2022. As a solo cellist, she won first place in American Protégé Concerto Competition, and second place in American Protégé Piano and Strings Competition in 2016, which she was invited to perform at the Weill Hall at the Carnegie Hall. Wangshu’s festival appearances include Music@Menlo, Madeline Island Chamber Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, ChamberFest at Juilliard and Montecito Music Festival. After receiving her Bachelor’s from The Juilliard School, she is now pursuing her Master’s at the Manhattan School of Music.
