South Korean pianist Somin Choi is currently studying at the Manhattan School of Music as a Master of Music candidate under the tutelage of world-renowned educator Dr. Solomon Mikowsky - the teacher of numerous concert pianists & educators including Kirill Gerstein, Simone Dinnerstein, and so on. His pupils are spreading all over the world among top conservatories and universities including the Manhattan School of Music, Juilliard School, Hanover University of Music, Seoul National University, and Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.

Born in Seoul, Ms. Choi has taught over 200 students over the past few years as a private piano instructor both in New York and Seoul - Gangnam, Mokdong, and Yeouido, etc. Her students are varied from professionals such as Ye-won art music school students, to amateur players. She is mainly teaching 5-16 years old young talents, many of which have won decent piano competitions. She loves young students and it helped her progress as a well rounded pianists. She holds Music (Art) Education license back in Seoul.

Additionally, Ms. Choi is also working for the Precollege division of the Manhattan School of Music as an instrumental accompanist. She works on a weekly basis, closely with renowned faculty members and talented students.
